Let's take a step back here...our consumers have already "branded" our brand. They may have branded it as "the best quality," the "most innovative" or the "best service." Our charge is to live up to this every single day. To be the brand they helped to create. Our most powerful marketing tool is the product itself! What we do rules! Branding starts in our plants. Branding starts in our distribution. Branding starts at point of consumer contact.
Branding is what the thousands of our employees are doing right this minute-
the responsibility is immense...

I've always wanted to design a pin that showed a few links of a golden chain. Then when someone that packed my order remembered the spacers or hold downs or didn't forget the brackets I'd send em a pin! When my fab personnel get an important order out on time or early I'd send em all a pin! How about the CIS people that send us all those leads! They should get a pin! Let's not forget brand managers that listen with open minds to comments that dealers have and try to learn from them! We're all vital links in the "brand chain" and I applaud HD for taking initial steps to ensure that the brand is represented by only the best dealers. That's the only way we will all preserve, protect and defend!
